Pass The Heroes Act

It’s hard to believe. Coronavirus cases and unemployment numbers are climbing, but Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is more worried about protecting big corporations and special interests than addressing the 25 million unemployed Americans struggling to pay their bills.

The House passed the HEROES Act on May 15. Yet for two months, the Senate has not brought this critical legislation to the floor, nor has it proposed an alternative solution. The number of people who have been infected with COVID-19 has exponentially increased in nearly every state, and millions of Americans have been left unemployed through no fault of their own.

Today, our union will join the labor movement for a national Call-in Day of Action to get congress to take decisive action.
